Service
I go by HS, and my friends affectionately call me “The Legacy Queen.” The moniker stems from my mission to empower over 100,000 women, aiding them in cultivating their innate abilities and acquiring expertise to navigate the realms of business, love, and leadership by the year 2025, so they can live a life of impact and legacy.
I believe granting every woman the genuine freedom to express herself, pursue her career, and make common ground to express their leadership will open door to sustainable development and economic growth. Needless to say that we have moved beyond the era where men solely provided sustenance for the family and women confined to domestic duties. It’s time to abandon traditional and patriarchal values that constrain women’s potential.
Our commitment to women’s emancipation extends to homes, business environments, and the political sphere. Some have reduced women to mere ornaments, limiting their potential by confining them to predefined roles.
My involvement in politics has highlighted the considerable hurdles women face. Limited access to resources like land, finance, information, and business communities disproportionately affects women, subjecting them to poverty, violence, and discrimination.
I would like to appreciate individuals, social entrepreneurs, diverse women organisation’s, corporations out there who have contributed to this struggle because without them, we wouldn’t have gone this far.
However, this assignment is not even halfway through. I would like to use this medium to call on everyone who understands what this means to their daughters, wives, sisters, and mothers to support this struggle because together, we can. Social and economic sustainability is everyone’s business.
Dr. Phumzile Mlambo-Ngcuka, the Executive Director of UN Women (2013-2021), during a crucial moment of signing: “We are pleased with Goal 5, which addresses key barriers to gender equality and women’s empowerment and guides us toward necessary action.”
Finally, to realize Agenda 2030, we must achieve substantial, transformative, and irreversible gender equality and women’s empowerment. SHERO Impact is strategically positioned as an empowerment agency dedicated to bringing this vision to fruition. Our community is designed for members to engage in topic-based groups and receive important announcements.
