🟣 NO EXCUSE — How to Report GBV
Every survivor deserves a clear, safe, and supportive pathway to report violence.
1. TELL A TRUSTED PERSON
A friend, neighbor, teacher, or community leader can help you take the next step.
2. REPORT TO POLICE OR GENDER DESK
Ask for the Gender Unit or Family Support Desk. Demand your statement is recorded professionally.
3. SEEK MEDICAL CARE IMMEDIATELY
A nurse, doctor, or community health worker can provide treatment and document injuries for legal evidence.
4. CONTACT SOCIAL WELFARE OR LOCAL GBV RESPONSE TEAMS
They provide protection, referrals, safe shelters, and case management.
5. REACH OUT TO NGOs & HOTLINES
Local organizations offer counseling, emergency support, and follow-up advocacy.
BOTTOM LINE:
Reporting saves lives — and there is NO EXCUSE for institutions to ignore survivors.
