“She must have provoked him.”
*FACT:*
Violence is a *choice* the perpetrator makes. Survivors are never to blame.

*MYTH 3:*

“Women lie about abuse.”
*FACT:*
False reports are extremely rare. Most cases go unreported out of fear and stigma.

*MYTH 4:*

“It’s a family issue, not a public matter.”
*FACT:*
GBV is a crime — not a private affair.

*BOTTOM LINE:*
